Megan Bollier's Experience in Zambia, Africa

I know God is calling me to go places where there are needs much greater than my own. God is calling me to serve Him in Zambia and it is invigorating to image how BIG God could use my insignificant life to reach different people around the world. I am a weak vessel who wants to give God my heart, soul, and mind to allow him to bring the love of Christ to Zambia.

Market Day

Today we went to the market and walked around Choma to get more acquainted with the city. We bought a chitenge which is a piece of cloth that the Zambian women use to carry their children on their back, carry food, wear as a skirt, or use as a blanket. It's the thing to have around here - so finally we are a part of the culture and are in style!! It was a fun experience but very overwhelming at the same time. Image a group of eight white Americans walking through a huge street full of Africans - especially a blonde. We stuck out! Regardless, it was a great experience and it opened my eyes to the Zambian culture and way of life in a very real way!
